Well, long time since I wrote something here. And never submitted anything. It's not, that I was too lazy or lost the interest in photography or art in general...

I think maybe everyone knows that feeling, when you just don't have any good ideas. And it's even worse if you look at you gallery and you realize, that most of your submitted art isn't something new.

I've been asking me for a long time what I want to do in my life. I still don't know. I'm pretty old to don't know what to do and every day I don't decide in which direction I want to go it's just getting worse as you realize that it was just another day that you actually just wasted doing things that didn't really helped you. I mean, it's fun to play games or watch movies, but at one point you might think about what you've acchieved and what your future goals are.
Long speech short sense... (Do you say that in english? Well, you do so in german)

I like photography and no matther if I want to put it somehow into my professional life or keep it as a hobby I was thinking to myself what I actually want to do, what to show. Why and if there's any deeper meaning behind it.
So, yeah. I came up with the following:

I'd like to show people usual things in my very own way. Show people that - let's say a glass - can be so versatile. That maybe someone thinks to himself: Well, that's weird. I never saw it that way, and it's amazing how you can show off things in such a way.
For me that's the whole reason of taking pictures. It's not just enough to have a "nice" picture. I'd like to tell storys behind the pictures. I'd like to make people think and fantasizing about things. And maybe even show them a little piece of my inside. My soul, my thoughts, my fears and hopes...

It might take some time until I finaly get good enough to show off pictures the way I want to, but I guess if I try and try and try and try over again, one day I'd be able to show pictures with emotions, pictures with soul in them.
